I spent hours and hours setting up and tuning my HTPC and I realized that I had never documented everything. Recently, my windows xp install started having problems (would not play mp3's) and I knew it would need a fresh install soon which motivated me to put this together as documentation for myself and also to help others in my same position.

FFDSHOW - audio
The next two shots show the codecs that I use to decode each signal type.
This increases the volume of the output.
The settings below force all audio to be re-encoded and sent to my receiver as a Dolby Prologic II signal.
